MRIGS Reports- Plays Crucial Role in Constant Project Monitoring

MRIGS (Monitoring & Regulation for Improved Governance of Skills development), a ERP IT solution has been catering to all needs of monitoring and regulation of projects on state and central level implemented by different ministries and departments. MRIGS has gained its success and popularity through its strengthen framework and ease of use. The portal is supporting number of DDUGKY projects pan India.

The portal has proven to be a one of its kind with accurate and real time information. Since its inception each of its process and modules including, access management, proposal management, project management, batch management, candidate management, placement management, internal assessment, MIS reports, reports and likewise have been used seamlessly by PIAs, (Program implementation agency) SRLM (State Rural Livelihood Mission), TSA and higher authorities for theirs
Reports
Increasing use of MRIGS and feedbacks of user have made the portal more innovative and functional. Project Monitoring have always played a big role in the success of any project, MRIGS based on the very foundation of this idea provides various process to monitor the project on state and central level.

Reports module in MRIGS is extensive section which caters to all monitoring and regulating needs of SRLMS and TSAs. Project Management and Monitoring section under reports had introduced 2 new reports namely, Training Centre Summary Report and Freezed and Completed Batches Report, both of these reports are helpful in providing omplete data and information about training centre and batches.
Training Centre Summary Report
Training Centre Summary report aims to provide complete information about PIA’s and its different training centre across the state. Reports can be viewed by SRLM or TSA for their particular state.

A user needs to make a certain selection before viewing a complete report. Select scheme, Project state, PIA, Sanction order number, TC state, TC district and Primary Training Centre. And click on search, now SRLM or TSA can monitor every details about training centre through the summarised report.

The detailed information in the Training centre summary report includes, Name of PIAs, Training centre location, Training centre Status as in if it is active/inactive or closed. The report also shown the tagging of the training centre if available, Training centre name, Training centre address, Training Centre ID as per MRIGS records Training Centre Closing date. Beside this information report also mentions date of Q team check, inspections dates and likewise.

Training centre clearly shows Date of Q Team Due Diligence Submission Report, Due Diligence Conducted date by SRLM/TSA and Due Diligence Approval date by SRLM/TSA. These different helps in comparing and analysing the gap between approvals and report submissions if any.

Other report field includes Maximum Approved TC capacity (in terms of candidates), first batch start date, approved trades, Total numbers of candidates trained, total number of candidate place total number of candidates undergoing training at the centre and likewise. All the crucial information about Training centre helps SRLM and TSA to have control over the ongoing projects in the state.
Freezed and Complete Batches Report
Freezed and Complete Batches Report aims to provide complete information about of batches of different training centre across the state. The report can be viewed by SRLM or TSA for their particular state.
A user needs to make a certain selection before viewing a complete report. Select scheme, Project state, PIA, Sanction order number, TC state, TC district and Primary Training Centre, and Date. Clicking on submit will allow user to view all the information about freezed and complete batches. Through this report SRLM or TSA can monitor every details of batches in the training centre.

The report shows details like state, district, Training centre ID, Batch ID, Name of Trade, and Duration (in hrs). Beside this basic information the report also lists down different date like, Actual Batch Start date, Actual Batch Freeze Date, Actual Batch End Date, and Expected End Date. These different date helps in making comparison and analysing the gap if any.

Batch status during the month which includes Batch Freezed or Batch completed, Number of Candidates Admitted on start date, Number of Candidates Freezed, Number of Candidates Completed Training and Status of OJT is also detailed down in the report.
All the information about the batches helps SRLM and TSA to view the reals time status and understand the functioning of any training Centre.
Since Report plays a crucial role in understanding the ground reality of any training centre, regular access of these report by SRLM and TSA can help in avoiding any loop hole or gap. Regular Monitoring and regulation through these reports will definitely improve the functioning of Training centre thus, helping SRLM to achieve their goal of skilling Indian youth.
